POLICIES & ETIQUETTE

We know entering a brand new fitness community can feel daunting at first. Here are some helpful rules of the road that will make you feel like a veteran in no time.


Arrive early...

Planning to get to the studio about 15 minutes before class time will ensure you’re checked-in and ready to sweat with no stress or rush.


Unplug...

Leave your cell phones and other electronic devices with the rest of your belongings outside of the workout space. We expect all of our clients to respect each other’s time – you made a commitment to yourself, and we want you to honor that.


Be mindful...

During class, music will be bumping through the speakers and the instructor will cue parts of the workout routine. Be sure to stay in the present moment, listen and follow along as best you can with the rest of the room. When the room rides together, the energy can’t be beat.

Our Policies
    Expiration Policies:

        • Our single-class credits expire one month from the time of purchase.

        • Our 5 class packs expire 3 months from the time of purchase. Our 10 class packs expire 6 months from the time of purchase. Our 20 class packs expire 1 year from the time of purchase.

        • Our monthly memberships will activate on the date of a client's first visit using the membership -  and it will auto-renew monthly according to the activation date.

    Reservation Policies:

        • Booking for clients on memberships opens up at 12pm noon, 8-days in advance. Booking for clients on class packages open up at 12pm noon 7-days in advance. 
        • We do not accept unpaid reservations over the phone or in person. A single class or package must be purchased in order to reserve a spot.
        • We have a 2 Class Per-Day limit per client.

    Cancellation & Late Arrival Policies:

        • You can cancel your reservation via your account.

        • In order to cancel a class at The Handle Bar, you must unreserve at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time. Once your spot is cancelled, the credit will be returned to your package to be used at a future date.

        • For our credit users and members, a late cancellation will result in a $15 fee. The credit will be returned to your account for future use within 24 hours of the late cancel.

        • For our credit users and members, a no-show will result in a $25 fee.

        • Switching to a different class within the 12 hour window of your originally reserved class start time is considered a late cancel and the same penalties apply.

        • Please be aware that spots will be released 5 minutes prior to class to wait-listed clients.

        • If you are not in the studio 5 minutes before class time you risk losing your spot.

    Waitlist Policy:

        If you sign up for a class and enter onto a waitlist, the following considerations must be made:


        • By signing up for the waitlist you are signing up for the class.

        • You may get off the waitlist several hours before class (you will receive an email), or you may be added from the waitlist at the start of class due to no-shows.

        • If you are not present and your name is bumped off the waitlist, you will be penalized as a no-show.

        • If you do not plan to come to the studio and wait, you must remove yourself from the waitlist.

        • By removing yourself from the waitlist prior to class time, you will not be penalized as a late-cancel or no-show.

    Memberships:

        All of our memberships have a 3-month commitment. Canceling before the 3-month minimum will incur a fee of 50% of your monthly membership charge. If you would like to cancel your membership, please reach out to us at info@handlebarcycling.com!
